There are no geographical boundaries for membership.

Full Family Membership Dues:                    $850

About Membership Types

Full Family Membership
Full members of the club are granted access to the grounds and are given full voting rights for the PWSC Board of Directors elections, the annual budget, and other matters of pool business as they arise. New members pay a one-time non-refundable initiation fee of $900. 

Summer (Temporary) Membership
Summer (temporary) memberships do not require payment of the non-refundable initiation fee. This type of membership is intended for families who may be living in the area for a short time and who do not want to commit to a full membership or who just want to try out the club. Summer Memberships do not have voting rights, but member children can participate in swim team, dive team, and tennis camps.

• You will receive a welcome email and you’re now a PWSC member!

Current Members – How to Renew

• Current members will receive an email to renew their current membership.
• Provide payment through the website and you’re all set for the 2024 summer season – see you at the pool!

Special Situations

Need to inactivate or cancel your membership?

Full members only may choose to be inactive for a particular season. Inactive members do not pay annual dues and cannot access the pool during that season. Inactive members also cannot buy guest passes to access the pool. Members typically use this status if they are traveling for the summer or to determine if they want to formally resign. To opt for this status, members must send an email to membership@potomacwoodsswimclub.org.

Full members who want to cancel their membership should send an email to the Membership Chair at membership@potomacwoodsswimclub.org. Resigning members will be placed on a resignation list by notification date. Bonds are refunded for full members who paid bonds once a new member joins PWSC. Bonds usually are refunded by June of the season in which members resign. Bond refunds are mailed so resigning members should update their addresses in their online PWSC accounts. *Note: members who paid a non-refundable initiation fee will not receive a refund of this fee.
