Dear Potomac Woods Swim & Tennis Club Members,
We hope you received your 2012 dues notice via U.S. mail earlier this week. We are moving toward more online interaction with our membership (including an online payment option requested by many members). Each season we will ask you to review and update your membership information in the online database. It is especially important that we have your correct email as the majority of our communication will come through this channel.
Please visit our website now and click on the Login button on the top right of the homepage. Use the primary email address that you registered with last year and use the default password “demons” to access your account. You will be asked to change your password. We also ask that you review your membership info (address, phone, email, etc.) as well as make sure all family members are linked to the primary account. Please make sure there are only two adult members listed under the family. Any adult children living in your home are eligible for membership but should be listed under the child designation. We will be using the online system exclusively this season and only registered members will be allowed entry to the club.
You will also notice a link to the new payment option. This link will take you to a screen with two options: 1) pay online (via PayPal or credit card), or 2) pay by check. Please note there is a handling charge to use the online payment option. This covers the charge the club incurs for each transaction that is processed. If you choose the second option it will provide a copy of the dues notice for you to print out and directions to mail to our post office box.
It is our goal to send dues notice via email only next year. This will save the club approximately $700 in mailing costs. We hope you find these improvements useful! Swim team members – look for the option to pay your swim team dues online this spring.
