Potomac Woods Swim & Tennis Club Open for 2013 Season
Dear Members,
Welcome to the 2013 Summer Season! I am pleased to announce that we have passed inspection and once again will be open a week before Memorial Day for all of the members to start enjoying the summer early! The gates will open at 12 PM Saturday May 18.
As mentioned in pervious communications, there was a great deal of work completed at the pool this offseason which should make the summer of 2013 very enjoyable. The pool itself was resurfaced and new tile was put in as well. We also had all of the buildings painted. The painters are still in the process of wrapping up and this may cause some spots around the outskirts of the clubhouse or pump rooms to by blocked off until dry.
We are pleased to announce a new snack bar vendor will open for business on Memorial Day Weekend. They will offer a wide variety of food, snacks and drinks for your pool enjoyment. We will provide the menu, hours and and details prior to their opening day.
Additionally we are kicking off the Social Summer season with a newly formed book Club. The book that was chosen is: “ What Alice Forgot” by Laine Moriarty. Get your book and start reading. Then, join in Thursday, June 20th from 7 – 9:00 p.m. for a lively discussion of this interesting read. Light appetizers will be served but please bring your drink of choice.
